Case-management assessment for public bodies
Before replacing a system, establish what needs to change. I help public bodies understand how cases and records move through their organisation, where work gets stuck and which improvements deserve attention first.
When an assessment helps
You may have a working system but unreliable handovers, scattered records or reporting that depends on spreadsheets. An assessment is also useful before a procurement, migration or major change in responsibilities.
What we examine
We follow representative cases from receipt to closure: registration, ownership, decisions, deadlines, access, records and archival responsibilities. Discussions with the people doing the work sit alongside a review of available procedures and system behaviour.
What you receive
The agreed scope can produce a current-state map, a prioritised list of issues and a practical improvement plan. Findings distinguish changes to working practices from changes that need technology, ownership or a larger delivery project.
Start with a defined question
Bring one process, service or concern. We agree the boundaries, participants and outputs before work starts. For Icelandic-speaking teams, the Stöðumat self-assessment offers an initial discussion aid; it is not an audit or certification.
